But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Matt6:23-24
The professing church system is under Great Darkness they believe to be light. They say 'We see, but what is it they're seeing?
“If you were blind you would have no sin, but now you SAY you ‘We See’ Therefore your sin remains!” (Jh9:41)
They Search the Scriptures, (Jh5:39) believing they have eternal life in them by repeating the words. But they have neglected the weightier matters of the Words: 'Repentance and Faith PROVEN by Deeds! Acts26:18-21 Thus like the Jews, they refuse to Come to a proper understanding of repentance unto life and remain the ‘Blind leaders of the Blind’ Matt15:14, producing a defiled fruit rotten to the core. They are seeing conversions taking place in the darkened heart of a person yet to be Purged in repentance! Here is an example taken from a detailed email received in response to the question:
'Does a child molester have to stop molesting children in order to get saved?'
(read on a weep!)
Thank you for this email. Your inquiry regarding salvation and sexual abuse is a very complex question that does not have an easy answer. First, let me tell you that I believe the Bible supports the idea that a person doesn’t really have to stop anything in order to get saved. We are not saved by what we do, but we are saved by what Jesus Christ has already done for us.
The Bible says we are justified with Him, by what we believe in our heart and confess with out mouth. (Romans 10: 9-10)
The Bible also says that after we get saved we need to work out our Salvation with fear and trembling. (Phil 2:12) Thus, when we get saved we need to bring forth fruit worthy of repentance, proving continued evidence of our Salvation. (Mt 3:8)
People get saved and still smoke, curse, lie, steal, have a drug and even sexual addiction problem, and commit adultery, etc. Through an ongoing relationship with Christ, we are eventually to work sin out of our lives, as the revelation of Jesus Christ increases inside us. The Holy Spirit helps us do this work. (Hebrews 4:12) Sadly, even more tragically, people do get saved and continue the heinous activity of child molestation.
I have know people listen to the Word, read the Word, pray the longest, and sing the loudest, and be active in and even faithful to their church – but never change. For some reason, unknown to me, they are capable of continuing in the sin of sexual abuse.
Carl, I have to tell you — in the area of sexual abuse — it makes me wonder just how deceived these people are — and, while I do not like to judge anyone, and while I know that Jesus Christ does forgive any sin — when people continue in this type of behavior — when people don’t come forward for help — I have to wonder if they even grasp the aspect or the purpose of their Salvation.
While all sins can be forgiven — in my opinion - this kind of sin must stop instantly in the life of a man made righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ. Otherwise...I would question whether or not he is even saved, even though he (or she) may be smack-dab and serve as a minister in one of the best churches in America. (Mt 7:21)
Carl, let me tell you that I work extensively in situations related to all kinds sexual abuse, especially with victims. I would advise you that if you know of a child who is being molested, you are mandated by the State to report it. If you need help, I can help you. Also know this, as a church, while we don’t condemn the sinner, we do not tolerate the excuse that a person “just can’t” stop their sexual abuse. The cost to the child is just to great.
The last comment I will make is that if you know of someone active in a church that is involved in sexual sin — please come talk to me. I am called to help in these situations. This has to stop. God has called me to be a safe place to fall.
Sincerely, In Christ,

The Great delusion here is that the person is assuming God must first 'Save the sinner, fill him with the Holy Spirit and then begin the work of redemption through a process of 'sin repent, sin repent, changing his desires slowly over time and make him fit for heaven. This Counselor said clearly: 'People get saved and still smoke, curse, lie, steal, have a drug and even sexual addiction problem, and commit adultery, etc' This is an outright denial of Scripture that says: Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 1Cor6:9-10
DO NOT BE DECEIVED! The Scripture warns. People doing these things WILL NOT inherit the Kingdom of God unless they Stop doing them and come clean. The Bible says let 'No one deceive you with empty words' sin brings death, if you partake in this kind of behavior you abide under the Wrath of God.
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. Eph5:6-7
What THINGS is he talking about? The Very things this so-called Christian Councilor said is common among the Saved! 'But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Eph5:3-5
She also said: 'I believe the Bible supports the idea that a person doesn’t really have to stop anything in order to get saved' Really? Does that include even the most despicable sins imaginable as the question addressed? Again the Bible says: 'He who Covers his sins shall not prosper but whoever Confesses and forsakes them will find Mercy!' Prov28:13, and again:
Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. Isa55:6-7
Is it of any wonder why she counsels 'Christians' addicted to all these things and the Churches are filled with professing fornicators, adulterers, sexual perverts and a host of other destructive behaviors? It's her concept of Salvation that's out of sync with the Bible, not the people who don't 'grasp the aspect or the purpose of their Salvation' The Purpose of the Commandment is 'Purity, Sincerity and love' 1Tim1:5, that's the Doctrine in accordance with 'godliness, the Wholesome Words of Jesus Christ! 1Tim6:3
In the Churches that Purpose has been turned on its head and perverted into 'Filthiness, guile and tolerance', Jesus said to:
'Go and Sin no more!' Jh5:14, 8:11, He said he who 'commits sin is a Salve to Sin, Jh8:34. According to these 'Christian Counselors if you're NOT in the actual process of committing Sin your a liar and the truth isn't in you!
She also said: 'the Bible says that after we get saved we need to work out our Salvation with fear and trembling. Thus, when we get saved we need to bring forth fruit worthy of repentance, proving continued evidence of our Salvation' But the Bible says it's 'Repentance unto Salvation, 2Cor7:10, repentance comes FIRST not after a person is Saved. 'Bringing forth deedsWorthy of repentance, Mat3:8, Lk3:8, Acts26:21, is the initial act of coming to God for Mercy, Isa55:7, you can't 'Work out' your Salvation until you have it! And you surely don't 'have it' while still addicted to these Sins! Here's what sinners need to be told before they can even THINK about forgiveness:
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James4:8-10
Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. James1:21
'Strive, Obey, Keep His Word, Count the Cost, take up your cross, deny yourself, endure to the end and sin not!'
These so-called Counselors wouldn't have to console themselves with the 'they were never saved to begin with' fantasy, if to BEGIN with they had told the people to come clean with God in repentance. BUT how can someone who has never Purified their own heart by obedience to the truth tell others it's even 'possible to do so? Like all the Pastors, teachers and helpers in the Church System placate themselves with the same excuse: 'I would question whether or not he is even saved (committing such sins as discussed) this gives them the 'appearance a godly organization. By parroting these excuses they can quiet their conscience from crying out that such behavior is deserving of punishment. Bottom line 'all is forgiven and under the blood', and who are we to Judge.
She said: 'If you need help, I can help you' I ask HOW is anyone of this sort going to HELP anyone!? By telling them they're already forgiven and need to enter some 12 Step Program to be weaned off their addictions?
It's certainly not going to be easy for a person this far gone to come clean with God in repentance. But it's not impossible and it's going to require a VERY diligent effort on their part to break free from all the delusion. God's hand is always out-stretched to a humble and broken heart WILLING to Seek Him out in a self-cleansing repentance. Psalm 32:1 Says: 'Blessed is the man in whose heart there is no guile', a heart emptied of treachery and deceit, THAT'S what God is looking for! That's how you 'Purify your heart form its 'Double-minded ways and find real Mercy that will lift you up out of the mire of your sins, renew your mind and truly regenerate your spirit. If you desire to be 'Washed, renewed and regenerated' Titus3:5, you must first do your part in repentance proven by deeds, then the Eye will be good and the WHOLE body full of Light!
Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, Says the Lord, Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword; For the mouth of theLord has spoken. Isa 1:16-20
